Daniel Alvarez Gardeazabal is an artist who has worked on several projects of design and construction in Colombia, but his passion for the arts led him to dabble in the art in 2018. His vision is bold and eclectic, challenging the traditional notions of figuration and abstraction, as well as the relationship between the materiality and the meanings we attribute to it. His body of work includes parts and interventions that focus on the worship of money and the banality of the pursuit of wealth. It also uses the same matter as the principle and origin of man, composing and decomposing to question the human existence and its forms of representation. His creative process is based on its principles as an interior designer, and in the exploration of the aesthetic processes that originate in the chaos.
